For this year, I've purchased Monster Hunter Tri, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, Golden Eye 007, Naruto: Clash of the Ninja Revolution 3 (don't laugh; it's a pretty solid fighting game) and I'll be receiving Donkey Kong Country Returns in the mail soon, along with Super Mario All-Stars next month. Also, I got Wii fit as a gift xD The only game for Wii I want after that is Zelda: Skyward Sword, and then I think its safe to say I'm done with Wii games unless we get a worthy Star Fox game, or another Donkey Kong Country perhaps. It's clearly been a very Wii-focused year for me that I haven't experienced since 2007.

For 360, I might eventually get Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Left 4 Dead 3 (if the rumor is true, I definitely WILL be snagging this ASAP), and perhaps Gears of War 3 (maybe). Oh, and the future Assassin's Creed 3. =) After those, I can't think of anything else I want. Bought Halo: Reach and TES: Oblivion this year which are great, and I got the new 360 Slim model (250GB) which I'm practically in love with. 2008 and 2009 were very much 360-focused years for me.

For DS I'm pretty much only interested in Golden Sun (50/50 chance of getting this or not) and Black and White Pokemon. I'll be done after that. Got WarioWare DIY and Mario and Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story earlier this year with my DSi XL. Got a lot of good games in my collection to replay for a while. 2009 was an extremely DS-focused year for me along with the 360.

Overall, I agree. I think I'm also just about done with this generation in terms of buying games. I probably won't even get all of the games I mentioned except for definitely Zelda, L4D3, AC3, and Pokemon B/W. I'm more than satisfied with my collection and after how much I was involved with the current generation, I don't think I'll be participating too much in the following one. I definitely won't be purchasing a 3DS for a while, probably not until it has a pretty good price cut.
