You'll need to pick up a T6 torx security screw driver before you can open it up; standard hex bits that come in security kits won't fit due to the shape of the Xbox controller. The screw recessions in the grips are too deep.
I'm assuming they use the same T6 security bits as the other controllers.
Unless you're just curious to see what the insides look like, you might just be better off color keying the buttons with lacquer paint instead.
