Dieting is hard, especially if you have to beat the eating habit. That hunger feeling is your first real barrier, try eating small amounts regularly - like fruits, it'll briefly fight off the hunger until it's time to have a proper meal. Proper meal, have a breakfast, lots of little mini-meals (fruit and stuff) then a bigger, proper dinner. Also, a clevel little trick, before you eat your dinner, drink 2 full glasses of water. that'll fill you up some and won't want to eat so much! Eventually your stomach will shrink a little, and then you won't feel that hunger so much, and when you do, it'll be because you've actually missed a meal, not just because you want to eat! |
Well keep in mind that I'm trying to gain muscle mass without much FAT. It's not the first time I've heard about drinking water along with another about chewing gum saying that it will help alleviate hunger. Well that, in my case anyway, is not true. If I chew gum, I start feeling hunger, bear proportion hunger! The same with water, and to be honest I avoid drinking water unless I'm exercising. If I drink water with food, I feel hungry in a few minutes afterwards and in many cases my stomach starts reacting negatively :S. My body is eccentric.
