I actually think that we're approaching a sort of bubble, with how games sell. Development costs are skyrocketing, not in line with the actual increase in sales. I'm not sure whether next gen or the one after that, but I do think there will be a crashing down, back to earth, if you will. Obviously, gaming won't die, but I do think that costs will come back in line, and with games being less flashy, we may lose some of the people who buy on the 'wow' factor, thus making sales smaller. The costs will come down enough, though, so that games can still be considerably more profitable.
