If they don't,how come Wii has had such a big increase in the US,and in the same time with the release of the Red Wii.Ohhh it must be a coincidence!

The red Wii is tied to Mario's anniversary and comes with NSMBWii.  How much did the black Wii bump US sales back in the spring? ;)

So you are comparing Spring #s with November #s?

So you're comparing a white console to a special edition one that comes with Mario?  Looks like I'm not the one with the worst comparison here. ;)

I was not comparing such things.I was just stating that colours do make a difference even in the West.

Black Wii proves they don't really though.  In terms of context, that's far more similar to the white PS3.

The red Wii is a special case, it's tied to Mario's 25th anniversary (and being heavily marketed as such) and it comes bundled with one of the best selling games this generation in America (NSMBWii), and outside the US it even comes preloaded with exclusive games you can't get anywhere else (SMB1 25th Anniversary Edition, DK NES Original Edition).  It's not a simple new color revision, it's arguably a collector's item.
