Need not drop into the "Black Friday Sales Prediction Thread" to see someone who believes that GT5 will be the next best thing since sliced bread and will move millions of PS3's over time, I understand that it will give a substantional HW boost, but I doubt it'd be much higher than that of Halo Reach, but the only thing to do is wait I guess.. However releasing on the biggest week of the year it is a bit hard to tell which sales are a result of holiday boost and which are the result of software releases..

He was referring to everyone who is saying GT5 won't be big in general. It's nothing new tho, ps3 has no games, HR won't sell much..GOW won't sell like in the PS2 era cuz the market is not there, LBp won't sell much etc etc....this is just the next thing in the line...let's see with time if GT5 moves a significant amount of HW or not in the future..for now it's all speculation from all sides..so yes wait and see

 

oh and to clarify, i haven't seen anyone say GT5 'alone' will move 'millions' of HW yet tbh...personally I think it will help move a significant amount with time..it's the whole package that will matter in the future...current game offerings plus what's coming in the next year or two.....would be interesting times next year around this month ;)
