"Precisely. And looking at SE's track record not only with the Wii this generation, but with the Kingdom Hearts franchise, jumping to the conclusion that 3DS KH = KH Wii is ridiculous "
I wasn't addressing that. I was addressing your claim that the audience was on the PS3, not what the developers were choosing to support. You have to pay attention to the full context of replies, especially to what you yourself wrote.

Well, you said I was false to jump to that conclusion because not even the entire GTA fanbase is on PS3. I took that as #1 you were referring to America (where Kingdom Hearts is more popular) and #2 you thinking that I was assuming KH3 would be PS3 exclusive, hence why I said a PS360 multiplatform release wasn't out of the question.
Now, in terms of the audience being on PS3: unless you're willing to say that the Wii is a "kid's" system, then I don't know no why everyone instantly believes the audience is on the Wii, when all of SEs proper (not spinoff) games gone HD and not Wii (barring Dragon Quest, which has historically always gone to the console that sells the most in Japan since 85% of the games sales come from that territory)

KH=/=kiddie, so that's not my argument. Plus my pointing out that the KH audience isn't necessarily on the PS3 doesn't follow that it's automatically on the Wii. Heck, it could more likely be on the DS and PSP considering those are the only systems to get KH games this gen (and mobile phones for the first version of Coded, but I don't think that's even a consideration).
But what matters is that Disney own the IP, not S-E or the game's director (who I can't remember how to spell). So what Epic Mickey does will likely decide which system gets KH3 more than what S-E wants.

I wouldn't be so fast to say that Epic Mickey is the determinant for that. Remember, both the head developer and the producer of the game have talked about the game being multiplatform. It's only Wii exclusive because of the gesture based control scheme, not cause it's about Mickey Mouse

1. Well that's his opinion, so if I wanted to bother, I would take it up with him.
2. Okay, but another factor is the time and costs with RPGs on HD systems. There might be the sales, but I don't think Disney would like the thought of another 4 years just to make the game.
