They've discounted Blu-ray players, but not the PS3. 

I think they'll be fine in all regions, but they do need to figure something out in the US and UK. The gap in those countries is a bit large.

Having the 160GB model match the price with the 250GB Xbox would be a start. Its still more expensive here!

Yeah, price has always been an issue for the PS3 in those regions.
