@Cranky and Haxxiy (I always want to spell it Haxxity)

First off, I want to encourage discussion here. I want users to feel free to ask others why they put X game at the X position. I feel that this thread is a nice vacation from the usual sales discussion we always have here around VGChartz, and to instead talk about the games and what they mean to us.

So Cranky, I appreciate you trying to delve more into the reasonings Haxxiy had to put Uncharted where it is, but I feel you could have worded your question a little nicer. "I really don't think Uncharted is that innovative, but why do you think it is?" would have encouraged healthy discussion rather than having you two all grumpy at one another. And Haxxiy, if you feel like someone's challenging your opinion, I would love to hear you refute by giving your take on the game. Sure, "It's my list." works, but I would love to hear some discussion! This is what this thread is all about. I mean, I know we're all here because these games are important to us, so of course we want to talk about them! (Still bummed none of you guys wanted to talk about Heroes III...)

Anywho...

44. StarFox 64 (N64)
"Hey Einstein! I'm on your side!"
"Do a Barrel Roll!"
"Can't let you do that StarFox!"
Okay, so we all know that StarFox 64 has some of the coolest/cheesiest lines in the history of video games, but beyond the quotes, the game itself is incredibly fun, frantic, and simply wonderful to play. I mean, this was the first game to include the rumble pack, and once the rumbling began, we all knew that all was good in the land of video games. Actually feeling the explosions and the laser blasts was awesome to behold... and the game looked incredible to boot. Heck, I even remember when I finally realized that the robot Andross wasn't the real final boss, and that I had to find secrets in past levels to battle the true form. This game was full of secrets and surprises, and the bosses were big, bad, and fun to take down. To top it all off, multiplayer dog fights were incredibly fun, and allowed everyone to get going and play. Awesome game.
