Also there would be less confusion on what each model can do. Some people (no offence to anyone) are idiots when buying the 40 gig model and aren't aware you can't play your ps2 games on it. So if there was only one model with B.C., that you could upgrade the hard drive on, then it would be easier for the consumers.
