One more thing:

This piece of crap was capable of online gaming everywhere with a 3G connection.

And your point is?

Because this piece of crap already had 3D screen:

oh ouch, burn.

OT - I think the mobile market place is drastically different then it was even 5 years ago.  the rise of the smartphone is killing the market for dedicated devices everywhere from GPS to music players to e-readers.   i personlly don't see the game market going any different and that is going to be the weak point of the 3DS imo.  sony would be smart to make the psp2 a phone, there isn't going to be as big of a dedicated mobile gaming market in the future and nintendo will probably claim all of that market.

almost! i would say, they should make that feature optional.

keeping the cost down on a basic handheld device, but if you want to you can upgrade to smartphone and online gaming.

if you are talking a itouch vs. iphone method of release...yeah, i can agree with that.

something like that, but i would make it the same device, upgradeable per expansion port.

if you want smartphone features and android you buy the cartridge, and you are ready to go

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
