Do you honestly think MS is dumb enough to ruin a Gears franchise by making it non controller Kinect only? Obviously if this rumor is true its going to be a hybrid that we have heard about. Or it could be some sort of mini game in the game itself. Or we could be seeing a new controller attachment that goes with Kinect with an analog stick. Who knows what it will be but it sounds like MS will be announcing some new exclusives for 2011 next month.

Don't forget Microsoft said that their will be games in the future that use both controller and Kinect. Not to mention it could be a Kinect version of a Gears game. Since I already played Gears3 I highly doubt they will go back to the drawing board and make the game Kinect exclusive.

Plus I don't know how much I'd want to play a hardcore FPS or TPS using Kinect. The genre's just don't seem to work well on Kinect (In my mind). I would love to see Mortal Kombat on Kinect or other fighting games or sports where you stay still. But I have a hard time imagining games where you have to actually walk or run.

Maybe an arcade on rails shooter would be sort of cool. But I just don't see FPS, TPS, Platformers, Sports games and other genre's actually working well using Kinect. But I guess its Microsofts turn to prove me wrong.

You say you've played Gears 3? How are the graphics and gameplay?

Well I didn't get to play campaign. I played multiplayer Horde. I got to play as locust. It was freaking amazing. Graphics are almost on par with Reach if not on par. I got to play like 10 minutes. My favorite was being the ticker and just running at things and blowing up. It was one of my highlights of PAX, other then Duke Nukem Forever I loved playing that more.

But all round it looks like its going to be a worthwhile sequel to Gears2!
