Do you realise that Noah's Ark was found and many locations in the Bible that people thought were made up have been discovered? And many proofs of things in the Bible have been found in many places. Where do u think we got the general idea of what Jesus is supposed to look like from? A scroll was found that describes his appearance and carraige and it wasn't written by someone who believed in his teachings. BTW, for anyone interested, a part of the scroll said "No man has ever seen him smile!"
And that's from a Christian site BTW, so you can't say it's biased against religion.
2. I don't see the point of this. No one was denying Jesus existed, and the Jesus you see in Church paintings looks too European to be accurate (he most lilely looked like a middle eastern person).
I stand corrected. Ok, so it wasn't found. And I know no one was denying his existence. I'm just saying that scrolls and records of things that confirm the Bible. Scrolls that may not have anything to do with the Bible directly. As for all the Deja Vu explanations, I was expecting that there would be scientific explanations for it. That doesn't mean I don't still have a spiritual explanation for it.
And LOL at the God Helment! That 'feeling' is not what I meant by I've experienced enough to be sure there's a God. What's a 'feeling' compared to experiencing miracles? Or talking to God? Or being forewarned b4 any major negative event dat concerns my family, allowing us to avoid most of them? Apart from talking to God myself, I once heard my little brother and a second person talking. But my brother was sleeping and his mouth wasn't moving. And there was a second voice. When he woke up, he told us about his conversation with Jesus. Maybe God let me over hear it bcuz he was young then and we might not have believed it was bonafide if he told us. But I know some one is gonna say there were 2 ventriloquists and post a link about a 'dream casting machine'.
Your hearing voices worries me greatly. You should visit a specialist about this.
Also, there are no historical chronicles that confirm any of the supernatural occurences mentioned in the Bible.
The OP seems to have lost interest :( How come u only shot down the hearing voices part but none of the others? Is it bcuz that's the only 1 I gave any details on? Do u believe in eternity? If u don't, do u ever wonder 'What if they're right & there is a God? Will I spend eternity in hell?'. If I were in your shoes and I thought there was even an 0.001% chance that a God exists, I would do everything in my power to be absolutely sure bcuz an eternity in hell is not a risk I'm willing to take.
You can't explain away the warnings of future events I've received from God, the guidance to achieve certain things or the miracles. But I think you'll have to experience them for yourself to believe. Anyone who sincerely looks for the truth will find it. God promised that. But if you don't sincerely look for the truth, if you just half heartedly conclude things based on science and whatever else you drew your conclusions from, you may not find the truth. Especially if you're not looking for it in the first place but rather looking for proofs of God's non-existence.
