I'm still trying to get my hands on 2 more Move controllers, and have been 5 places so far only to find them sold out. Only 1 of those places (a gamestop) had Kinect sold out. Its just rousing my curiosity a bit as to how much MS has shipped vs sold and Sony shipped vs sold numbers. Something tells me the margin between Sony's shipped/sold numbers is MUCH smaller.

Well if that's the case why doesn't Sony have the balls to release their sold through to consumer numbers?  Why don't you go over to their blog and call them on it?  Tell them to tell us how many Move controllers sold through to consumers in the first 10 days.

Calm down my friend.  Just because there is a demand for Move in one fashion or another doesn't mean you have to find some avenue of hate to point the finger.  SONY has released numbers, and I'm sure they will continue to release number at their time.  All companies to this when THEY want to.

I think a lot of people are frustrated that Sony released incomplete information so their numbers are not as informative as they could be. Specifically they have never given the breakdown of controller, starter pack, and navigator numbers leaving interpretation of the real market reception wide open. This does lend some credibility to to Legend11s opinion (if it was stated a little too emotionally) that it is confusing why Sony does not release the shipment breakdowns when the controllers appear to be selling so well. It appears that there is either something they do not want people (investors, developers, consumers?) to know or they are doing a poor job of marketing their success.

This confusion with Move number has appeared even worse now with Kinect sales because they are so simple to interpret and MS has given sell through numbers.

I honestly can't understand why this site in particular as well as SONY cannot report PS Eye sales in combination with bundle sales.  Yes, not everyone buys a PS Eye for Move, but it will give some better indication of unique users.  Of course there is the argument of a single household having more than one Eye and/or more than one Kinect.  But then again, how many people already have an Eye prior to the Move's release who bought a Move controller?  So even if SONY released more specific numbers, it can be potentially misconstruded to make Move look bad.  So as long as Move sale have been good for SONY, retailers, and consumers, let's not get our panties in a wad.  Unfortunately, some users on this site want numbers just to troll and discredit.  That's where the "emotionally" charged are usually coming from.
