At times it's reassuring to know that at least one governing body in this country will stand up for consumers once in a while. Once the Supreme Court made the Fair Use ruling in the 80s, it basically screwed over every lawsuit like the hundreds the RIAA has been trying to dish out over the past decade.

True. If any judge is stupid enough to rule in the RIAA's favor this will just get overturned further down the line. I laugh as I watch those bastards go under.

 And I chime in. This basically means that you could record your own CD, buy it, rip it and then you'll have commited a crime regardless of copyright since ripping in itself is illegal...
