I like those, they are more interesting than collection ones
Basically; anything which realistically requires me to follow a guide, which just kills the pacing of the game. Collection achievements can be forgiven if they tell you where they are roughly (like in AC II), and online ACHIEVEMENTS (I am less bothered by online trophies) as I cannot get them unless I pay extra

That might have been a bad example. I'm thinking TF2, where you have to ubercharge a scout as a medic and get 3 kills. NO ONE WOULD EVER WASTE AN UBER ON A SCOUT. Do get this achievement you basically have to say "fuck it, I don't want to win."

I think they can make an interesting challenge; if they are designed right. CoD Black Ops had one where you couldn't use your helicopter's machine guns, which made things much more interesting...

Complete the level "Numbers" using only akimbos. Even on Regular it was kind of a torture. Still fun though.
