Longer term sucess for Kinect will depend on how much Kinect is seen by people as being more of a Wii than the Wii itself.  Microsoft is pushing "You are the controller" angle a bunch here.  This is more of a Wii than the Wii itself.  Looks like Sony is pushing the motion control for the core, more hardcore.  Nintendo is getting hit on the upper and lower end here.  Again, it is still early, so wait and see here.

As far as it appearing to be a "no brainer" regarding Kinect outselling Move, one can't say that for a multitude of reasons.

I can.  As did most on these boards.  No one questioned Kinect's ability to outsell Move initially.  Especially with with all the hype MS was able to conjure up pre-release with their $500 mil ad budget for Kinect.  The only thing people have questioned was Kinect's ability to outsell Move in the long run.  Mostly, in my opinion, because there is going to be a point when the types of games you can pull off with Kinect will become repetitive.  Same thing happened with the original EyeToy for the PS2.

thats why there will be hybrid kinect/controlled games in the future

personally I would rather have that, than just flat out hands free games
