PS3>360 gap in Japan almost cancels 360>PS3 gap in Americas for the year

Overall advantage = Americas by 99,112

And this is with 360 riding high from the slim redesign and even coming close to the Wii's YTD total. Now the advantage has swung slightly in Americas favor with Kinect out but that will likely be cancelled or reversed once GT5 comes out. Which territory will hold the advantage at the end of the year? It will probably be in 360's favor in Americas but I don't think by a whole lot. Probably less than 50k. It's also worth noting that this is at least partially due to the fact that the 360 has been performing very poorly so far this year in Japan, even worse than it used to. It will likely end the year down almost 40% YOY in that region.
