when wii hits 45M in USA they will be at like 96M WW.

Who knows how well Wii will fare next year/xmas. It'll do well this year.

Next year however Kinect and 360 will be getting a price cut and be in full swing, PS3 will get a price cut too.

Now of course Wii will get a price cut too, but I think with yet another year of lower YoY sales, that's going to be too much for Wii xmas 2011.

Who knows how well the PS3 and 360 will fare next xmas. They both will do well this xmas because they finally have their motion control fix.

But the splash of a new experience (for PS3 or 360 owners who doesn't own a Wii too) is not gonna be there for next xmas. Solely a price cut and software.

And we know who's the king of software this gen.

anything can happen, and honestly I can't see a holiday season were any of the HD consoles dominate tbh.

I'm sure you can't, but Wii's xmas win's are going to become lesser and lesser.

Kinect and Move will be 1 yr old, and they don't need to be "new" to sell on par or even better than their opening xmas, Wii has prooved that. A price cut on Kinect would be welcomed very much so as I think many think it's expensive, and a price cut on PS3 will help immensly. Not to mention 360 itself will get a price cut itself, alone it wouldn't matter, but with Kinect and Kinect bundles, it's fresh and cheap. The Wii getting another price cut isn't going to be as damaging as PS3 and 360/Kinect getting one.

I kindly disagree here. I don't think the second and third place consoles will have more impact with a price cut than the market leader.

Edit: And last xmas you had a proof of that with wii sales humiliating others and NSMBWii creaming all over MW2.
