mkwii rubberbanding is just brutal, specially in the 150cc and mirror.
I also dont like the fact that you can get hit nonstop, for example and this happens a lot I was in first place and was just about to get to the finish line and got hit like 6 times in a row and ended up in 7th place (that didnt happen in mkds so often which is my all time favorite and I got 3 stars on every cup on that game, but I didnt bother to get them in the wii version because it was so annoying)
I really think they made it that way so that casuals can have a chance to beat more experienced players which really bugs me because it is no longer about skill but more about luck
I really hope Nintendo can fix this in the 3ds version and make it more like the ds version (at least the hit detection) or give the chance to choose which weapons we dont want in the game (like brawl were you can turn them off) or at least make it fair.
But dont get me wrong I still love the game and completed it (just not 3 stars in every cup) and love the online :)
Basically that is what keeps it from being one of my favorite wii games.
