We should not hang nen-suer or youma. At least not yet. Nen-suer in particular has displayed a bit of knowledge that necessarily indicates he has some knowledge of what's actually going on here; whether that's related to his role or to his browsing the wiki I don't know, but we shouldn't hang him yet.

The whole point of any action taken in the game on the part of Town is to gather information. Mafia doesn't need information as badly; sure, they want to know who the cop is, who the doctor is, maybe who the tracker or the vig or whatever is, but generally information isn't as vital to the Mafia as it is to the town. If they're good at hiding, they can get through the whole game in blissful ignorance. Not so for Town.
Pressure on Linkz resulted in information concerning the identities of vanilla towns; it gave us reasons to trust TheRepublic, SAK, nen-suer, on and on.
Pressuring Heph gave us information too, of the same kind but lending to a more complete understanding of the role of youma in the game.
Pressuring Homer (after his roleclaim, and not before) resulted in us learning that the four generals of Queen Beryl are in the game. This contributes, more and more, to our understanding of how the game works.
Pressuring theprof is actually what resulted in the reveal that each minion serves a similar or different master among the generals. Hpeh follows Jadeite; prof follows Jadeite; I forget who claims Zoicite; nen-suer claims Kunzite. I need to hear who TheRepublic claims as his master, at the moment.
It's the second day. The first days are the best time to pressure people (perhaps indiscrimnately) and learn what you can so long as you don't actually hang anyone. Hatmoza thoguht that the flip of a Mafia would let us start connecting the dots, but that's not true; we've been connecting the dots the entire time, have ended up with a handful of absolutely confirmed townies who will serve as a buffer while we search out Mafia. At best, wide-spread and heavy pressure has bought us a number of days with which to keep hunting and scrutinizing everyone who claims to be town. At worst, I've caused some people's blood pressures to rise.
I would like to formally apologize, unsarcastically, if I have adversely affected anyone's enjoyment of the game up to this point. I do not apologize for the fact of pressure applied; just for the effects it might have.
THat's enough, though. We need to figure out people to hang.
Here is a list of things I am thinking about:
1. People seem to trust Kantor. I want to know why, because I absolutely do not.
2. Pressure on everyone in the game so far has resulted in information, with the exception of hatmoza. This seems to me incredibly suspicious, but I'm willing to let it slide because I think I was the only person who voted for him.
3. I dont' want to give gurglesletch the opportunity to get back into the game. Either he should be dead or hanged in the next 24 hours, no questions asked.
4. I would like to think that noname would be more active as a Mafia, but his status as a chronic lurker makes him a prime companion for noose-around-the-neck.
5. For j0, I don't distrust his claim that F-F didn't send him the role necessarily, but that combined with the fact that he's coming off of sabby's lurking makes him extremely scummy in my eyes.
6. What is up with TruckOSaurus?
THese are the things I am thinking about. THe three people I would hang right now, no questions asked, are noname, gurglesletch, and j0. We need to pick one of these guys and go to town.
