if you have a decent PC, Id recommend you reconsider and look into Battlefield 2 or Bad Company 2 (or the upcoming Battlefield 3) at least. I personally can't stand COD as a whole, but Battlefield is completely different. There is vehicle combat, actual gamemodes that don't blow, and many weapons to enjoy.
If you want to go cheaper without your trail, get good old Battlefield 1942. Its a bit dated, but there is still a decent community of gamers playing.
