As to how he knows their wrong we don't know and can only speculate. Maybe they already received initial sales figures from NPD, maybe the have their own internal tracking for Kinect who knows. All I can tell you is that his sources are probably a lot more accurate than ours.

Maybe he's just wound up and upset that VGC posted sales numbers for it before MS actually did.

Perhaps but the way he worded the tweet I highly doubt thats the case.

In the end all we can do is wait for some official number and see if vgchartz has to adjust or not. Seeing as there have been some major adjustments after every holiday period that I can recall I'm not going to put too much thought into the next few weeks sales results, although it will be fun to see vgchartians getting their panties all up in a bunch like they do every time the sales landscape gets shaken up a bit.
