Activision already does release one every year. And they'll keep releasing one every year for as long as it continues to break sales records and beyond until consumer interest drops below an unsustainable level.
Makes one wonder what the next most popular mainstream game genre will be if and when FPS ever fade.
And that 5% for PC and Wii can't be right. If so, that's got to be the biggest tell as far as sales trends go for mega franchises like CoD.
