Over 4 Million people playing online on the 360 version ALONE... One day after release. Wow.

These numbers could be a bug in the 360 version...if Reach was topped at 900k, and this is over 4m, I just have a hard time believing that. I know COD is more popular than Halo now but 4X? I'm skeptical. Also the PS3 numberrs again sound more reasonable, again why I say bug in only the 360 version.

 

If it's not, people around here are lowballing, to get 4m online at once it has to have sold at least 2X that much. You'd be looking at at least 8-12m day one just 360 version, which sounds crazy high. Again go to Reach, 3.3 first NPD and 900k online peake. So Black Ops would have to be 12m NPD just 360 only, to match the same ratio, which just doesnt sound reasonable, since the last one "only" did 4.2m.

As far as I know, Reach never topped above 450k. I sort of know this because Bungie tracks how many people are playing Reach at the same time in their website, and that figure never went above 450k (at least when  I checked).

I doubt that Black Ops would have 10 times more people than Reach, I don't know.
