I wondered why Nintedo didn't drop the price of the Wii, which would ruin the Kinect launch....
maybe they suspected that Kinect is not a threat at all, so they saw no need for a Wii price cut, after all, Nintendo could definately afford a price cut, hell the Wii was profitable when it launched as opposed to the 360 and PS3 which lost money on every console sold....
so maybe this is just what Nintendo expected....
at any rate, I hate the Wii because I hate motion controls, so I want both Move and Kinect to fail so motion controls would just DIE!!!
I think that after Christmas, casual gamers will see both Move and Kinect as just fads, and sales will plummet like a rock after Christmas, I mean the software line up on both Move and Kinect is shitty
I agree with ioi in his interview with Pachter that neither Kinect or Move have a system seller quite like Wii Sports. Plus the Wii had Mario--see 22 million sales for Mario Kart Wii. Sony and MS don't have Mario.
Move and Kinect will sell some because of the new-ness , but after Christmas, casual gamers will realize how crappy the software is, and sales will plummet....
Actually what I would like to see happen is for Move to fail and Kinect be really HUGE, then 360 will be all casual games and all the hardcore games will be only on PS3, and 360 fanboys will have to sell their 360 and get a PS3 to play hardcore games....LOL
Please Kinect, be a HUGE success so I can see this happen, LOL

I wouldn't touch motion controls with a 10 foot pole and my gaming buddies feel the same way too....
