I don't think so.
The "console games" reach a period when they're completely possible on a portable device due to technological leaps over the years.
The 3DS is just capable of bringing an experience on par with the HD consoles, to a portable size. It isn't the consoles fault this happens.
Next gen of home consoles, shall show us something that will only be achieved on mobile devices later on 2016 maybe.
