The actual question was, Which Pokemon would you want to meet. The polled individuals had no clue Nintendo was going to handout the Pokemon. If they did why would anyone have voted Pikachu to begin with? He's not that uncommon in most Pokemon games sure he's hard to find but why choose him over Mew for example?
