Yes and No. You can play with the Wiimote on its side like an NES controller all the controls are similiar to the classics. But no you can't play with the classic controller (If you were wondering). I played it ground pounding is the only thing new (Control wise) you need to shake the Wiimote.
Yah if your a big DK fan you gotta get a Wii for this one its going to be amazing!
