It's not good, but it's not bad either, it's completely irrelevant.  You bought a game for the content on that disc without any promise of further content down the road.  exclusive DLC is unfortunate for those that don't get it but it's something that happens in this day and age and you just have to come to terms with it.

Btw I already put up a link showing that the 6 hours of new content isn't true, so you are literally getting upset over nothing.

*facepalm*

Are you really hiding behind the legalities? I'm talking about treating your constomers properly, not what rights I have or yadda, yadda, yadda. Legalities have nothing to do with treating your customers like crap.

I do find it funny that I'm getting told "exclusive DLC is no big deal" by the people most privy to the exclusive DLC though. I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot, everyone would react the same way. /sarcasm

I'm not hiding behind legalities, I'm telling you that you're acting entitled when you aren't at all.  Did it suck when 360 got a bunch of GTAIV DLC exclusive?  Obviously, but I didn't talk about how Rockstar had betwrayed their customers.  I bought a game and that's it, there was no promise of every piece of content relating to that game being accessible to me explicitly or otherwise.

On your second paragraph: Find a quote from me talking about being betrayed because of exclusive DLC and I'll be quite impressed.  Otherwise responding to my response with some bullshit generalization about what I'd say in the opposite situation is just that: bullshit.

It's hard to debate you when you contradict yourself in the first sentence.

It amazes me that some people defend exclusive DLC by hiding behind semantical BS of whether or not people who buy a game are "entitled" to all the content. So tell me, if you truly believe this, why does it suck for anybody to get exclusive DLC? Why would it suck if we weren't all promised every piece of content for the game in the first place?

I'll cut to the gist of my argument: Just because they can do it, doesn't mean it's right. Tell me how you disagree with that.

That first sentence isn't me arguing the legalities of it, I'm arguing the morality.  I see no moral obligation to developers from you buying the retail game.

It sucks because it's unfortunate, you weren't promised a thing but that doesn't mean missing out on DLC isn't still unfortunate.  Things don't have to be promised to you for missing out on them to suck, I have no assumptions of entitlement towards the Persona series, but it would still suck if Persona 5 went to a platform I didn't already own.

I disagree with the idea that it's wrong on a moral level, there is nothing that requires developers to give you every DLC they make.  I wish that they didn't do it because it's unfortunate when it happens but I disagree with the idea of admonishing developers that do it out of some idea that they're betraying their customers.
