Grabriel becomes Dracula and the sequel is in moder times O_O

I couldn't figure out how to do a spoiler tag so I left a gap.  So yes Dracula is technically in this game.

Still this ending makes me sad cause after all Gabriel went through he ends up the Lord of Shadow, even after his redemption, seems kinda sucky and a cop out.  I mean I'd rather Dracula had been Dracula and he be the ultimate guy who played everyone even Satan, and have Patrick Stewart's character (Can't remember his name) have been in league with Dracula the whole time.  And I'm seriously not liking modern times, if I wanted modern day apocalypse I'd go play Darksiders (Which was quite enjoyable).  I want a gothic, medieval, fantasy setting which this Castlevania barely provided.  But that's me personally.  Another question why is Disolitude banned?  Was he trolling this game that much? (He really trolled this game hard)

If you click his profile, you'll see why he was banned. It was harsh, but oh well.

OT: Hmm...so Dracula still is in the game, only you're him...still the fact that you're saying Castlevania barely provided the "Castlevania" feel of gothic, medieval, fantasy is what I feared the minute I saw the game.

I saw his profile he logged on 3 minutes ago... but yeah like it was there the setting, especially the first stage, but then they went full fantasy on everything.  The biggest problem was the lack of goth.  Like would it have been so hard to through a few graveyards in the middle of the night?  And when you go kill the Vampire lord you're pretty much stuck in her castle, but her castle isn't impressive looking.  Thing that kinda pissed me off was after the credits and you go to Dracula and you see his dwelling, it's exactly what the entire game should have been.  Like the first scene and the end scene should have been the style of the game.  Instead they went with this fantasy setting that wasn't medievil, or gothic.  Oh well I guess I'll just go replay Medievil, they got it right.  Though ultimately I don't think the game was bad, it's just that it got repetitive fast and they just made some levels way to long.
