| Michael-5 said: Difference in September 2009 - 8.1 million units sold Difference now - 3 million shipped, but 3.9 million sold Looks like you compared shipped to sold figures. look again, inver did compare anything As for old debates, I think Squilliam, didn't you give me a link to a 2007 thread where people predicted the PS3 to outsell the 360 by 2008? I read a lo of funny posts in the thread, I should have book marked it. A lot of people on this website thought 360 was just going to die off at 30 million..LOL quote squill and reply that to him not me,you have been doing alot like that tying to make people jump into debate that others started,i am gonna report if you again do this The fact of the matter is there are a lot more PS3 hardcore fans on this site then 360. So people are always going to talk about PS3's "success" and when it will overtake the 360. PS3 has more fans?????where have you been last 6 months 360 fans have been all over this place and it is not the fact why this type of thread comes up again and again it is simpler than your thinking when a console has a bigger brand name then it is expected to outsell the other and with incetives like big pricecuts remaining, people expect it too. To put it simply, this probably will just not happen, not even with a price cut to $200 on the PS3. Remember MS is actually making a profit on their 360's, Sony only started doing that recently. MS has a lot more power to price cut, you talk about $200 pricecut and then counter it with argument or power to pricecut.........................that is messed up
and with Kinect having a 100 million dollar marketing campaign, its $500m not $100 it's looking grim for PS3. yeah thats why it is beating every console in weekly sales that comment would have been justified if PS3 was struggling currently and $500 marketing campaign was coming but its foolish when PS3 is actually winning and 360 has to make some fround up and then beat the PS3 in weekly but it wouldn't matter with you,you can keep making mistake with your info, keep twisting the way you want to make your point and try to maket people enter into a debate with you. |
