I really hope it's just a baseless rumor but there were people on Neogaf that were saying that DKCR might be pushed to 2011 in Japan.

That would be a stupid move by nintendo imo. I mean you're heading to the holidays without a major driver? stupid. Anyways rumors and nintendo rarely mix so i doubt that :)

Maybe they know they'll lose 2010 in Japan anyway, so they want at least to be sure to win 2011...

dude. to nintendo sure they dont wanna lose to the ps3, but they also dont want to lose holiday sales! It's not like a race where if you're one second or 1 minute behind it's the same thing, Nintendo will lose $$ if they dont try to push their products in the one time of the year that nintendo products usually thrive on!

What if they have price cut planned for spring 2011 and want to save DK for release shortly after ? That could be lot more profitable in the long run if it boosted Wii sales to previous levels.
