He definitely has a point in that there is an untapped audience here for games like Heavy Rain, although I don't know how accurate it is to say that it's a female group.
Also, fun fact: I gave my mom Heavy Rain for her birthday because I thought it would her kind of game (she is exactly the kind of person we're discussing as potential costumer here), but I don't think she has played much of it. My little brother played the crap out of it though.
