I didn't read anything other than the headline, I just wanna chime in. 
I really, really want to see where Alan Wake can go next (I just completed episode 2 in the game), and allow Remedy to remedy (best pun I ever made) their mistakes from the first game. They have an amazing narrative going, and the atmosphere in the game is brilliant, but please focus more on the animations next time, less straight forward shooting and possibly a bump to the resolution just a bit.
I really, really want Alan Wake 2!
