If all Cage wanted to say is that they target different gamers he should've said so and left out words like "jouet" (toy) and implying that one is a stronger experience than the other. You can be oif the opinion that one is a stronger experience for you but that's highly subjective. People have different experiences, simple as that.
The way he said it does sound insulting implying that one is more of a real/true video game experience than the other.
