On the issue of belittling/insulting/trash talking or whatever, let's stop pretending that Nintendo is a helpless victim all the time.

Things are said, points are made. We're not always going to like/agree with it, but they happen. I just think this was blown out of proportion (which is not uncommon).

Your point about Nintendo's comments are off-base here as I am talking about third parties trashing the Wii, not first-party trash talking (of which there is a lot to go around).

And what it appears to me that he said is that the Wii is a toy and the PS3 is superior. And while the latter is true from a technological perspective, a lot of people must be ignorant because they have selected the Wii for their game playing. And my point is that this is something that those who feel that only technological advances drive gaming cannot understand.
