It's obviously possible to make a PS Move or Wii version of Dance Central but because you hold no controller and the fact that Kinect tracks your entire body for the dance moves, that alone is why the devs chose Kinect. What they mean is the experience you get from Kinect's Dancing Games is not possible for Move or Wii.

And that's pretty much a very reasonable answer because pretty sure for dancing you don't go around holding stuff while properly dancing (other than a mic for artists of course. I'm talking casual party dance moves).

actually, I love to hold stuff in my hand(s) when I am dancing. Like a cane or a ravestick, even a cigarette helps. I don't know why though. So actually, I would be more comfortable holding something while dancing, and to me it's quite normal then I guess =)

"But with Dance Central, you follow the game, not the other way around.  If you don't do it right, then it's easy, no input issues the game just tells you that you didn't do it right."

In the light of this (and with that Kung Fu game on PS3 that only uses camera, no MOVE controller), I do believe that PS3 and PSEye can do Dance Central just like Kinect.

THIS.

PS Move comes with a camera, and developers aren't forced to use actual Move controller, games like Kung Fu and Child of Eden, which has been confirmed to be multiplatform, show that.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if Sony planned this from the beginning. You know, many Kinect games could be ported to the PSEye, while all Move games stay exclusive because of the obvious missing of the input.
