After seeing so many summaries of the year for each of the new consoles, I decided to take a shot at a (relatively) low-bias look at how 2007 has worked out for the major contenders of this last year. I've posted it to my site, and of course it seemed appropriate to mention it here.

It is not, as anyone who reads through it will notice, an exhaustive list of what went right and what went wrong for each system. Nor is it in-depth to any significant degree. Rather, it's just my own observations of how things have gone, and some general observations of how things might go for each system in 2008. A retrospective, in other words, which was exactly what I was aiming for. Comments, criticisms, etc. are all welcome, and I apologize in advance if it shows up strangely on your screen. Not all browsers support Word Wrap for text files. If enough are annoyed, I'll make an HTML version as well.
