Most retailers do an incredible job preventing children from buying M rated games. The problem is mostly parents that walk over and buy the game anyways.
Trust me, its easier for kids to rent R/NC17 movies at Blockbuster or any other movie rental shop then buy an M-rated game at GameStop or Walmart.
