Blu-ray zit in de lift in België
In de eerste helft van 2010 zijn twee keer zo veel films op blu-ray verkocht als in dezelfde periode in 2009. Dat meldt de Stichting Blu-ray Disc Promotie Benelux (SBDPB).
Volgens de SBDPB zullen er eind dit jaar meer dan 600.000 blu-rayspelers verkocht zijn in België. Een film op blu-ray kost gemiddeld 21,5 euro.

SBDPB expects that the sales of Blu Ray players will pass 600.000 before the end of the year in Belgium. The average Blu Ray movie cost 21,5 Euro = 30,2$
Belgium population almost 11 million.. So 6% of the country bought an Blu Ray player or around 20% of the households has an Blu Ray player..
Don't know how it compares to other countries but the organisation SBDPB is very happy with those numbers.
