Capcom's really got a jekyll and hyde thing going on, definitely. There's the Capcom making Megaman Legends 3, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Okamiden (like you mentioned), and then there's some sort of constantly-drunk, blind, and deaf Capcom that's making DmC and even possibly considering this, the Capcom that made Dark Void and is making Megaman Online

it is just ABSOLUTELY baffling as to why CAPCOM has this fixation on being "Westernized" (I blame that troll Inafune personally) when in fact the most critically or commercially successful games they've made this gen have been heavily Easternized like Street Fighter, DMC4, Mega Man 9 10, and Phoenix Wright. The only Western outsourced titles that have done well have been Dead Rising 2 and Bionic Commando: Rearmed with Dark Void and Bionic Commando being bombs both in sales and reviews. Hopefully they get their gig together before they turn into another Konami

I get it, and I'm Asian. Western Games are much more engaging and innovative these days in general. Japanese Games are the same ol' games we've been playing for the past 20 years with wackiness attached to them. I also hate Hentai Games, they are retarded, but they keep making those too, pure garbage genre alongside dating sims.
That holds true even on their PC games, look at FF14, it's like they haven't learned a god damn thing from 11, it's still slow, it's still got shitty menus even though it's out on PC first, combat is like a fucking turtle trying to get away from a 76 years old farmer chasing it. Compare that to some of the MMOs other Asian companies are making, the only thing it has is wooo look pretty! I swear, if Versus is bad... I'll.... it'd better not be..... not after how that one that shouldn't be called FF turned out, decent game but, man, not FF quality. I miss the Square of the 90s, so much.
PS: I'm not taking FPS into account btw.... they are all pretty much the same with tweaks..... that genre will die soon too if publishers farm it too much.
