It really was just a stupid way of sticking the droid in the movie. There are sooooooo many other places they could have placed C3PO and R2 but sticking them in episode 1 was really just fan service and nothing else. There wasn't even a good reason for him to have built a protocol droid. It could do nothing to help his mother. You would think if he really wanted to help his mom he would build a vacuum cleaner. It was almost as stupid as putting Chewy in episode 3. |
