I don't know why, but main theme of Epic Mickey reminds me of the underwater bgm from SMB, the haunting variation reminds me of Harry Potter's score/Luigi's Mansion. It's just, I don't know, so wimsical about it.
It definitly captured the atmosphere of what Koji Kondo, Kazumi Totaka (and successors) does in their works.
