Dude, I live in Winston-Salem, NC We get snow quite a bit. Like this past winter, he got at least 7 inches and schools were closed for about half a week. However, several years ago (I think in 2003 or so), we had school closed for a week and a half. Crazy stuff

Yeah, I went to Appalachian State for two years, in Boone N.C. Snowed like crazy and wind-chill was awful (with wind chill it got down to 18 below... me no likey!).

In my heart I'm still a Californian, so I'm always wearing shorts, even in cold weather. My legs just dont get cold I guess.
