True cooperative play:
Most MMORPGs foster competitiveness amongst its users. The person getting the killing blow on a monster will receive the reward, which can allow other players to steal your rewards. When you meet another player, you have to be in the same party to help each other out, and if you don't team up, you won't both be rewarded.

In Guild Wars 2, every player is an ally. If you are fighting a monster, anyone can come help, and you will both be rewarded fully for your efforts.

This right here is my problem with it and I cant believe any company is retarded enough to make this mistake. Why the hell should everyone get loot? What if the chob in question only did 10% of the damage that most of the others did? Why does he deserve any rewards for being such a scrub? That right there is a huge dealbreaker, and honeslty I hope they remove it.

Why shouldn't everyone get loot if they make an honest contribution? And would you meassure someones contribution to a fight by the damage they do? It's not about getting better loot than everyone else, it's about everyone having fun participating, and what loot others get doesn't hurt you in any way.

If they are a DPS class then yes, theur contribution is damage, healers adn tanks have other measures. Furthermore, do you not realize the main draw of an RPG? It's to bet get better gear and be better than the guy that sucks compared to you. But if you really want to get into it, PVP. Having the same gear, scrubs and pros alike, is just terrible TERRIBLE for PVP. I still can't fathom why some developer would do something so stupid as to just give away good gear to every lowly scrub who gets it.
