PS3 can still finish in first place.

That might be possible if you swallow the PR and think next gen is really 5 years away still...

Well a good chuck of that will happen just over the next few months.  The joys of the the holiday season. 

However that would only match what the wii has now.  So it's beyond crazy to think that the ps3 will pass the wii's totaly.  The wii sold more in it's peak 2 years that the ps3 has sold total.
