Yes, I predict both Animal Crossing Wii and Kingdom Hearts III for Wii will outsell Zelda Wii. That isn't to say Zelda Wii won't sell well - I predict it will easily pull more than Twilight Princess GCN + Wii combined (currently 5.6m, will likely finish around 7m). Thing is, Animal Crossing Wii will pull 10m+ and I'll predict KHIII will pull about 8m. Yes, that's far more than either previous KH game, but it's what I'm predicting. |
O_o 8 mil? Well, if it happens, I'll be happy, and so will SE and Disney because that'll encourage them to put more KH main series on Nintendo systems. But KH1 sold 5 mil, and KH2 sold 3 mil. KH3 will sell 8 mil? Not very likely. But I could be wrong, but I doubt. But the demographics DO fit... |
Hahaha. I knew you'd get excited about that prediction.
But, it's what I think. Wii caters specifically to those demographics, and the system is selling more than anything historically ever has. As a result, since KHIII would be a 2008 announcement, it'll be a 2009 release. By the time KHIII would therefore be released, the Wii will have over 50m consoles sold. Given the Wii's demographics, there will be more than enough people who will want KHIII to purchase 8m for the Wii.
Especially if we see a KH1&2 Wii port.
