I'm guessing it's graphics will be somwhere between the two. Wasn't trying to be specific, just giving a general idea of what I'd expect from Nintendo by 2012.

I'd expect the visual jump from PS3 to Wii 2 being pretty comparable to the visual jump we have with PSP to 3DS.  So same "generation" in terms of rough spec class, but the Nintendo machines will benefit quite a bit from 5 years of technology improvements, development research and cost savings.  It'll still be a perceived jump by most.

By the end of 2011 / early 2012, it'll be pretty easy to put together a machine capable of doing far, far better than Crysis level visuals for under $299.
