The gap between both HD console won't be big enough to warrant the 3rd party developers to ditch either PS3 or 360, may it be Ps3 end up having more sales or 360.

and don't hate the haters too much, me personally, I think it's a case of being 500k undertracked, Move bundles, being out of stock for first 6 months of year, and Sony shipping to more countrys than MS. It'll be interesting to see next Q. Logically they shouldn't top last xmas Q, because it had 3 full months of new slim and price cut, it shouldn't have same impact this Q, and GT5 can't match that. But then, nothing surprises me anymore.

500k might be a bit small, after all given that Microsoft and Nintendo are sitting at ~1 to 1.2million consoles sitting in channel at the moment i can't see SONY having any more than 1.5 to 1.8 million in the channel.
